The Lawmaker representing Kosofe Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber, Hon. (Prince) Rotimi Agunsoye has sent his congratulatory message to the trio of Hon. Abiodun Akhigbe, Hon. Jumoke Animahun and Mr Muritala Seriki on their inauguration yesterday as State Treasurer, Assistant Secretary and Youth leader, respectively, of the Lagos State Chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC). In the congratulatory message signed by the distinguished lawmaker, he described their elections into the respective posts as well deserved going by their political experiences and as party loyalists.  He noted that the party has elected the right calibre of people to pilot the affairs of the party in the state and expressed great confidence in their abilities to deliver the good and thereby make Kosofe Local Government proud. Nationwide Darkness As National Power Grid Suffers Another Total Collapse

The national electricity grid of Nigeria has collapsed again, officials said. Eko Electricity and other power distributors reported zero generation from the grid on Monday morning.   “Dear esteemed customer, we regret to inform you of a total system collapse on the national grid at 10:40 am today, leading to outages across our network,” Eko Electricity said in a statement. “We are closely monitoring the situation with our TCN partners to determine the cause and a timeline for resolution.” Kaduna Electricity also issued a statement apologising to customers about the national grip collapse that started at about 10:40 a.m.   “|We regret to inform you that the power outage being experienced in our franchise states is due to System Collapse of the National Grid which occurred at about 10:40 am,” the firm said. “Power supply shall be restored as soon as the National Grid is powered back. BREAKING: Lady missing in Lagos BRT found dead

  The 22-year-old lady, Miss Oluwabamise Ayanwole, who got missing after boarding a Lagos Bus Rapid Transit vehicle, has been found dead. One of Ayanwole’s relatives confirmed this to The PUNCH on Monday. “We are at the morgue. We have confirmed the corpse,” the relative said in an emotional-laden voice. It was learnt that her corpse was dropped on Lagos Island by a BRT vehicle and a jeep. Upon sighting the corpse by the roadside, an unknown man reportedly informed officials of Ebute Ero Police Station on Saturday evening. The corpse was later taken to the Mainland Hospital mortuary. “An autopsy will be carried out to confirm if any part of her body is missing,” the relative told The PUNCH.   It was learnt that Ayanwola got missing while returning to Ota from Ajah on Saturday, February 26 when she boarded a BRT bus with number 240257 going to Oshodi at about 7 p.m. at Chevron Bus-Stop. APC Refutes Reports On Alleged Sack Of Buni

The ruling All progressive congress (APC) has refuted the story making the round that the Governor Mai Mala Buni led caretaker committee has been sacked on the orders of President Muhammadu Buhari. APC in a statement by its caretaker secretary, Sen. John James Akpanudoedehe maintained that there is no iota of truth in the story. “Our attention has been drawn to sponsored media reports on an imaginary leadership change in the All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC),” Akpanudoedehe said. “The media report is fake news and should be disregarded. “The APC is a progressive political party guided by rules.
