BREAKING: Bobrisky sentenced to six months in prison with no option of fine over naira abuse

Controversial cross-dresser Idris Okuneye popularly known as Bobrisky has been sentenced to six-months jail with no option of fine by Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos State .
 
The judgement was handed down on Friday April 12.


The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Thursday, April 4, had filed six-count of money laundering and abuse of naira against him.


And on Friday, April 5, EFCC arraigned Bobrisky in court on a six-count charge ranging from Abuse of the Naira and Money laundering.

The court, however, dismissed the money laundering charges but convicted him for Naira Abuse after he pleaded guilty.  crime.
